Unvaccinated students wishing to continue studies abroad urged to submit request to CITF Sarawak

KUCHING (June 27): Students who wish to return to continue their studies abroad and have yet to be vaccinated are urged to submit their request to the Covid-19 Immunisation Task Force (CITF) Sarawak, said the State Disaster Management Committee (SDMC).

It said in its Covid-19 daily update that they can email their application to CITF Sarawak at [email protected].

“In the email, they are to include details namely their full name, MyKad number, MySejahtera ID, mobile number, name of university, proof of registration, university offer letter, date of commencement, vaccine requirement, and district for vaccination purposes,” it said.

Meanwhile, the committee also announced that five localities in three districts have been placed under the Enhanced Movement Control Order (EMCO).

“Rh Charlee anak Ujang, Sg Sap in Tatau; Ling Hock Transport Sdn Bhd quarters and Rh Sibat anak Agang, KM5, Jalan Samarakan Ulu Segann in Bintulu have been enforced under the EMCO starting yesterday (June 26) until July 9 whereas Rh Jerome, Sungai Kesa and Rh Jumbun, Simpang Koko in Sarikei will be placed under EMCO from tomorrow (June 28) until July 14,” it said.

It also said that the EMCO for 17 localities in five districts have ended.

“Rh Gani, Sg Jagit Kemedu Sare in Sarikei had its EMCO lifted yesterday (June 26) while Rumah Setinggan Sebatang Kelapa in Bintulu and Kampung Tabuan Haji Drahman in Kuching ended its EMCO today.

“Ending their EMCOs tomorrow are Rh Mut anak Merom @ Bohom, Rh Sana anak Changgai, Rh Jimbun anak Saging, Rh Bon anak Depa, Rh Empading anak Edi, Rh Jaapar anak Anyut, Rh Jebat anak Talak, Rh Puso anak Lunak, Rh Nyalau anak Engkamat, Rh Noh anak Bin, Rh Damat anak Enggie, and SK Stalon in Tanjung Manis as well as Rh Kintan, Merampu in Pakan,” it said.

It added that Rh Umang / Rh Jamit, Ulu Nunggang in Pakan will have its EMCO lifted on June 29.
