As a result of struggling to stay afloat because of COVID-19, the iconic Sin Hoy How Hainanese kopitiam and salad bar ChimiChurri will be closing down at the end of this month
Located on Jalan Tun H S Lee, Sin Hoy How has been operating for 84 years and is loved for its curry noodles and signature coffee.
Customers also often frequent the hawker centre to enjoy the traditional breakfast of toast and homemade kaya, as well as its asam laksa and belacan fried rice.
The shop even sells its own coffee powder, which they’ve been known for since 1937.

In an interview with The Malaysian Insight, owner Lily Fong tearfully explains how it’s been a difficult time for them to continue the business due to the lockdown.
If you want to enjoy any last few meals from the restaurant, now is the best time to do so, as Sin Hoy How will cease operations by the end of July.
Meanwhile, the well-loved ChimiChurri, popular for its wraps and salad bowls, also recently announced that it will be closing its doors for good

First launched in 2014, the restaurant has since opened multiple outlets in Klang Valley.
“We really appreciate your support the last seven years,” reads its Instagram announcement posted last week, 16 July, while encouraging customers to enjoy their last meals with them.
The restaurant will cease operations on 29 July.
