Earlier today, 30 January, Federal Territories Minister Annuar Musa posted a photo that showed him sitting inside a restaurant
In the photo, the UMNO politician appears to be going through a booklet, while wearing a mask.
The photo was posted on his official Twitter handle at 12.58pm Saturday.
In the caption accompanying the photo in his tweet, he wrote, “Although during this MCO, traders can conduct business, we know their businesses are quite affected. Income for families in [People’s Housing Projects] PPRs are also affected. To continue helping them, all renters of affordable housing by [Kuala Lumpur City Hall] DBKL, [Putrajaya Corporation] PPj, [Labuan Corporation] PL, and renters of business premises will be given a discount of 50% from January to March 2021.”
The FT Minister also made the photo his new profile picture on Twitter.
Sungguhpun PKP kali ini, peniaga boleh berniaga, kita tahu perniagaan mereka cukup terjejas.Pendapatan keluarga di PPR turut menerima kesan.Demi terus membantu mereka, kesemua penyewa rumah murah dbkl, ppj,PL dan penyewa premis niaga DI BERIKAN DISKAUN 50% ,Januari hingga Mac 2021 pic.twitter.com/ll0FHhwnVK

The Federal Territories, that are Kuala Lumpur, Putrajaya, and Labuan, are currently under the Movement Control Order (MCO) 2.0
The MCO 2.0, that was enforced earlier in January, has been extended until 4 February based on the risk assessment and advice of the Ministry of Health after the continued increase in the daily COVID-19 cases.
Under the MCO 2.0 rules, activities such as dining-in are not allowed
Given that, the photo showing the FT Minister sitting inside the restaurant has prompted questions from netizens about dining-in amidst the current movement control guidelines.
However, the photo appears to be from December 2020, before MCO 2.0 was enforced.
A reverse image search on Google performed by SAYS shows that this photo, while posted today, is originally from 13 December last year
