SIBU (June 25): Sibu Resident’s Office is urging the public not to go to a Covid-19 vaccination centre (PPV) if they do not have an appointment to receive their vaccine jab.
In a press statement yesterday, acting Sibu Resident Wong Hee Sieng said walk-in vaccinations are not allowed at any PPV in Sibu.
“Only those who have received their vaccination appointment through their MySejahtera or have received phone calls from a government agency are allowed to go to the vaccination centres,” he said.
Wong said the ‘no walk-in’ policy is to avoid overcrowding at the PPVs.
“Members of the public are urged to give their full cooperation,” he added.
