Gaya Street Sunday market reopens

KOTA KINABALU: Kota Kinabalu City Mayor Noorliza Awang Alip here today announced the reopening of Api Api Night Market on February 26 and Gaya Street Tamu Market on February 28.

She called upon visitors of both the Api Api Night Market and Gaya Street Tamu Market to comply with the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) set.

Noorliza also announced the operation hours of markets permitted to reopen in conjunction with the Conditional Movement Control Order (CMCO) implementation in Sabah.

She said day markets can operate between 6 am to 6 pm, night markets from 5 pm to 10 pm, tamu and farmers market from 6 am to 2 pm, and wholesale markets from 12.01 am to 2 pm with strict adherence to SOP and supervision of the local authority.
