KOTA KINABALU: Family members who live in the same house may now sit at a same table together when they are dining in a restaurant, said State Local Government and Housing Minister Datuk Seri Panglima Masidi Manjun.
“The State Covid-19 Disaster Management Committee has agreed to allow customers who come from a family that live in the same house to sit together in the same table according to the table’s capacity,” he said in a statement today.
Masidi, who is also the state’s official Covid-19 spokesperson, said the relaxation was made to allow family members to dine together without having to sit at separate tables.
Separately, he said that Sabahans living in Brunei would no longer have to undergo mandatory quarantine when entering the state.
However, they would still have to undergo RT-PCR or RTK-Ag Covid-19 and they must produce the results one to three days before their departure.
