KOTA KINABALU: Sabah Covid-19 spokesman Datuk Seri Masidi Manjun announced the end of the Enhanced Movement Control Order (EMCO) at Kg Numbak and Telipok settlement here today.
He noted the government had implemented the EMCO on November 16, 2020 and extended till December 13, 2020.
“To date, MOH (Ministry of Health) has conducted 6,776 screening tests at both localities and a total of 175 positive Covid-19 cumulative cases have been recorded in Kg Numbak and 224 cases in Telipok settlement,” he said.
“However, thus far, MOH has confirmed that the number of active cases in these two localities shows a decreased and controlled trend.
“On the advice of MOH, the government agreed to end the EMCO in Kg Numbak and Telipok settlement today, as scheduled. However these localities are still subject to the Conditional Movement Control Order (CMCO) that enforced throughout Sabah,” he emphasized.
