Today, 21 April, marks Health director-general Tan Sri Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah’s 58th birthday
Speaking to The Malaysian Reserve, Dr Noor Hisham said that for his birthday, he wishes all Malaysians will continue staying united to fight the pandemic.
“Alhamdulilah and thank you (for all the wishes). Coming together will make us stronger to fight against COVID-19,” he said.
It is reported that the last time he appeared at a press conference to present COVID-19 updates was on 4 March
Since then, the daily update of the pandemic in the country was communicated through press statements, tweets, or Facebook posts.
But that did not stop Malaysians from wishing the Health general-director a Happy Birthday.
Many netizens flocked to the Ministry of Health’s Facebook page as well as his own to leave birthday wishes.

“Happy Birthday to Tan Sri Dr Noor Hisham. Lots of best wishes, sir. Stay strong and healthy always,” commented another Facebook user.
“Selamat hari jadi, Noor Hisham Abdullah,” added another.
A lot of birthday wishes can be seen pouring on his Facebook page too.
“A very happy birthday to Tan Sri, blessing you happiness, good fortune, and good health [in] all the days of your life,” said a person.
Some even dedicated a birthday video to Dr Noor Hisham.
