KUCHING (July 5): Sarawak recorded 424 new Covid-19 cases today, an increase of 59 cases compared to 365 yesterday.
Health director-general Tan Sri Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah, who shared this on Facebook, said this brought the state’s cumulative Covid-19 cases to 66,985.
“The country as a whole recorded 6,387 new cases, bringing the infections tally to 785,039 cases.
“Perlis was the only state that reported no new cases,” he said in the post.

Selangor remained at the top of the infections list with 2,610 cases followed by Kuala Lumpur (819), Negeri Sembilan (523), and Sarawak.
Other states and territories that also recorded three-digit cases were Johor (324), Pahang (312), Kedah (273), Sabah (263), Perak (249), Melaka (206), Penang (157), and Kelantan (114).
Labuan and Putrajaya reported 71 cases and 25 cases respectively, while Putrajaya recorded 17 cases.
