Confirm vaccination appointment to avoid cancellation

KOTA KINABALU: Members of the public have been urged to confirm their Covid-19 vaccination appointment in the MySejahtera app within 48 hours after receiving the notice.

Sabah Progressive Party (SAPP) vice president Gee Tien Siong said some residents of Sabah, including those

from Luyang, had complained that the vaccination dates were frequently changed and confusing.

He said the real problem is most likely caused by not clicking “Click here to confirm your appointment” in the MySejahtera.

According to the announcement issued by the  Special Committee on Covid-19 Vaccine Supply, if appointment is not confirmed within 48 hours, it will automatically be cancelled and rescheduled to a later date.

“As such, I would like to call on everyone, after receiving the appointment notice from MySejahtera to please click the ‘Confirm Appointment’ link in the app, so that the vaccination can be carried out smoothly.

“At the same time, I also want to encourage those who have not yet registered, to participate in the national vaccination program, to protect yourself and your loved ones. Let’s get out of the pandemic together as soon as possible,” said Gee in a statement on Tuesday.
