MIRI (July 6): The Miri Division Vaccination Operations Room has received 806 applications for Covid-19 vaccination via WhatsApp, said Datuk Lee Kim Shin.
The Miri Division Disaster Management Committee (MDDMC) minister in charge said the hybrid registration method has been well-received by locals, who have had difficulties accessing the MySejahtera app.
“Though other manual application methods are available such as through the community leaders and health clinics, there may still be those who have no idea where to go. Thus, we come up with this idea to create convenience for them,” he said during an inspection of the operations room today.
He called on those aged 18 and above who have yet to register or receive a vaccination appointment to contact the operations room.
