129 new cases, seven deaths

KOTA KINABALU: Sabah recorded 129 new Covid-19 cases on Wednesday, with seven deaths in the past 24 hours.

Covid-19 spokesperson Datuk Seri Masidi Manjun said two deaths were in Tawau and one each in Sandakan, Kunak, Kudat, Penampang and Keningau.

“No new cluster recorded on June 23.

“Meanwhile, vaccination registration is currently at 30.1 percent,” he said.

As of Wednesday, Sabah’s total cases are 68,029.

A total of 1,412 patients are still receiving treatments in hospitals (442), PKRCs (959) and temporary detention centres/prisons (11).

Patients in ICU are 72, with 21 of them receiving ventilation.
