A man was recently arrested for robbing a woman in Petaling Jaya after asking her out to dinner
Petaling Jaya district police chief ACP Nik Ezanee Mohd Faisal told Harian Metro that the suspect is 39 years old and the incident took place around 5.45pm on Monday, 15 February.
Following a report regarding the crime, a team of officers raided the suspect’s home at Taman Impian Ehsan in Seri Kembangan and arrested him around 11.10pm last night, 16 February.

The suspect had befriended the victim on Facebook
He stole the victim’s gold bracelet before leaving her in front of a convenience store in Section 13, reported The Star.
“Police also confiscated a Perodua Bezza used by the suspect during the robbery, two handphones, RM2,900 in cash from selling the bracelet, and a watch.”
He is remanded for three days under Section 392 of the Penal Code
Harian Metro also reported that the suspect also admitted to having seven prior criminal records involving robbery, theft, molestation, and intimidation around the Klang Valley area.
