KOTA KINABALU: Sabah recorded 230 new Covid-19 cases today, said State Local Government and Housing Minister Datuk Seri Panglima Masidi Manjun.
Masidi, who is also the state’s official Covid-19 spokesperson, said that Kota Kinabalu recorded the highest number of cases with 53 cases followed by Tawau (33) and Lahad Datu (28).
“Tambunan was reclassified from a green zone to a yellow zone while Beaufort was reclassified from an orange zone to a yellow zone,” he said in a statement today.
Sabah had also recorded two new clusters today, namely the Timbang Dayang Cluster in Kota Belud, which has since recorded a total of 12 cases, and the Teguli Cluster in Putatan (12 cases).
No new Covid-19 death was recorded today.
A total of 215 Covid-19 patients in Sabah recovered from the virus today.
