Ai Authentic Dim Sum Restaurant is one of the few places you can find good dim sum in Setapak, with fresh ingredients and affordable prices. Customers love their prawn rolls, salad prawn, lau sar pau (salted egg yolk bun), and woo kok (fried taro puff). For dessert, try their sai mai lou (sago soup).

Located in Pudu, Tuck Cheong gives out an old-school vibe that you won’t find in most dim sum restaurants these days. This place is often frequented by locals, and is self service. Make sure to come early and try their siew mai, lo mai kai, and homemade fish balls.

Even after expanding, Hoong Foong is still usually crowded with people in the mornings. They consistently offer quality dim sum, including your regular steamed siew mai, har gow, and chee cheong fun, as well as a variety of fried options. The drinks here like their kopi peng and teh peng are really kaw and tasty as well!
