KOTA KINABALU: Semporna Chinese Chamber of Commerce (SCCC) president cum former president of the Sabah United Chinese Chambers of Commerce (SUCCC) Datuk Seri Panglima Gan Sau Wah passed away at the age of 85 at Tawau Specialist Centre Hospital at 1.40pm on Sunday.
The SCCC secretariat issued a notice on Gan’s demise on Sunday afternoon.
His son, Peter Gan, is currently the deputy president of SCCC.
Gan was revered for his leadership in the Chinese community and support towards Chinese education and charity.
