Samsung recently launched a new 110-inch 4K TV, made with its MicroLED display technology. That technology was first introduced with the launch of Samsung’s “The Wall”, a system of modular display panels that can be altered to fit a customer’s needs.
Specs-wise, the 110-inch MicroLED TV is a 4K HDR panel with a 100% colour accuracy, on the DCI and Adobe RGB colour gamut. It also features eight million pixels, spread across that massive display. Further, Samsung says that its MicroLEDs are longer lasting than the conventional LEDs in TVs, with a lifespan of up to 100000 hours.
Underneath the hood, the TV houses a new Micro AI Processor, which is the engine that drives 4K HDR content to the TV. In addition to its cutting edge display, the 110-inch MicroLED TV is also bezel-less and was made that way in order to deliver greater immersion, be it from streaming shows or playing games on it.
Beyond the display, the 110-inch MicroLED is also embedded with Samsung’s Majestic Sound System that is capable of outputting 5.1 surround sound, all without external speakers.
Samsung’s 110-inch MicroLED 4K TV is expected to be globally available sometime during the first quarter of 2021. At the time of writing, Samsung Malaysia has not mentioned if the TV will make it to our shores.
