PETALING JAYA: Fuel prices will see a slight increase across the board from Dec 19 until Dec 25, the finance ministry announced today. It will be the sixth straight increase in prices in as many weeks.
Prices for both RON97 and RON95 will rise by five sen and will retail at RM2.08 and RM1.78 per litre respectively.
Diesel will be costlier by three sen, retailing at RM1.96 per litre.
“The government will continue to monitor the trends of global crude oil prices and take appropriate measures to ensure the continued welfare and well-being of the people,” it said.
