OnePlus Buds Z TWS Earbuds Launching In Malaysia On 30 November

OnePlus has announced that its new True Wireless Stereo (TWS) earbuds, the OnePlus Buds Z, will launch in Malaysia in late November 2020. The brand’s latest audio device features a familiar in-ear design, and is marketed as a more affordable variant of the original model that was released earlier in July.

The OnePlus Buds Z sports an all-plastic exterior with interchangeable ear tips, and is rated IP55 in terms of water resistance. Hardware-wise, the new earbuds are equipped with 10mm dynamic drivers, the aforementioned ANC capabilities, and features 3D stereo audio enhanced by Dolby Atmos with Bass Boost. Unlike the original model, the new earbuds relies on passive noise cancelling via its ear tips instead of ANC.

Other features include Quick Switch which allows you to connect the buds to two different devices and switch between them on the fly, and there’s Quick Pair which will prompt you to connect the Buds Z and your mobile device as soon as you open the charging case. OnePlus promises low latency operation as low as 103ms via the buds’ onboard Bluetooth 5.0 connectivity.

As for usage time, the brand claims that the Buds Z is capable of offering a battery life of up to 5 hours. With the included charging case, the audio device can go up to an additional 15 hours of use. Additionally, the brand says that a 10-minute charge via the case is enough to provide users with 3 hours of battery life.
