Metro 2033 Redux was free on the Epic Games Store last week. If you’ve claimed that, then you should probably claim the sequel. That sequel, Metro: Last Light Redux, is free until tomorrow. But it’s free on a different platform, and it’s GOG.
As the “redux” in the name suggests, this is also a remaster of the original release, which was back in 2013. Taking place after 2033, Metro: Last Light continues where that story left off, merely a year later. So the setting is also very similar, since not that much time has passed. The game also features two different endings, based on your actions along the way.
Of course, GOG has its own winter sale going on. And as always, the advantage of getting a game here is the fact that all the games are DRM-free. And the sale itself is ongoing until 4 January. The other entries in the series, namely Metro 2033 and Metro Exodus, are also on discount, should you choose to get them.
But if not, then at least Metro: Last Light Redux is still free to claim until tomorrow. You’ll have to claim it from a very specific page, but we’ve put the link to it down below.
