Earlier today, 27 June, Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin announced that the current lockdown called Movement Control Order (MCO 3.0) will not end as scheduled on Monday, 28 June

New Straits Times reported him as saying that the current lockdown, which is part of Phase 1 of the National Recovery Plan, will continue until the threshold value is less than 4,000 COVID-19 cases a day.

More comprehensive assistance for all groups of society will be announced on Monday or Tuesday, according to the Prime Minister

“Following the move, the government will announce more comprehensive assistance to all community groups tomorrow or Tuesday,” he said.
