KUCHING (June 15): Kampung Muara Tebas and Kampung Goebilt here are among four localities placed under the Enhanced Movement Control Order (EMCO), the State Disaster Management Committee (SDMC) said today.
It said in its Covid-19 daily update that Kampung Muara Tebas and Kampung Goeblit will undergo the EMCO for two weeks starting tomorrow (June 16) until June 29.
“The two other localities are the Sebatang Kelapa squatter house in Bintulu which had commenced its EMCO yesterday and is expected to end on June 27; while Rh Lasit, Sg Sare in Sarikei will be under EMCO from tomorrow until July 2,” it said.
It also said that the EMCO for Zedtee Plywood workers’ quarters in Tatau and Rh Demong anak Li, Batu 8, Jalan Maskat, Labang in Sebauh have been extended for another week from tomorrow (June 16) until June 22.
The committee also announced the end of EMCO for nine localities in six districts.
It said Rh Lingga, Sungai Selangan in Sarikei had its EMCO lifted yesterday (June 14) while the EMCO for Kampung Tambirat in Asajaya; Rh Aling Selepong Lop, Rh Aji Sungai Ban, Rh Jerry Lai, Kampung Siga in Sri Aman; and Rh Sli, Ulu Menuan, Batang Rajang in Kapit ended their EMCO today.
“Rh Thomas Settian, Skim B, Bintangor in Sarikei and Rh Seripah, Nanga Bekakap in Pakan will have their EMCO lifted on June 17,” it said.
It added that the EMCO for another locality in Nanga Bekakap namely Rh Kelambu will end on June 18.
