Get Your Whole House Up To Speed With TIME’s All-New OmniMesh Range

TIME Internet is a name that would always pop up when it comes to super-fast home broadband with excellent value. Now, the ISP is pushing things further by introducing a new mesh device range designed to blanket the home in Wi-Fi called OmniMesh.

In general, the OmniMesh consists of two elements: new mesh router models available with every TIME Fibre Home Broadband plan and their accompanying mesh nodes. When paired, OmniMesh is capable of delivering consistent speeds to every corner of your home over a single network. Built on Smart WiFi technology, OmniMesh ensures you’re connected to the fastest and strongest signal automatically no matter where you are.

Meet The New OmniMesh Routers

With the launch of OmniMesh, TIME Fibre Home Broadband 100Mbps and 500Mbps subscribers will now be provided with the Huawei HG8145V5 router, which the company has named the Essential router. Subscribers of the 1Gbps plan will get the TP-Link EC440 router, which the company has named the Enhanced router.

Aside from having features that you expect from high-performance routers including dual-band capabilities and transfer speeds of up to 1Gbps on a wired connection as well as 800Mbps over Wi-Fi, what makes the new Essential and Enhanced routers different is that they also natively support mesh Wi-Fi.

With these new routers, customers do not have to purchase a separate mesh Wi-Fi hub as the TIME Internet Essential and Enhanced routers are already enabled with mesh Wi-Fi capabilities. This in general means that you need fewer devices to set up a mesh Wi-Fi network in your home which also helps drive the cost down.

Why Mesh Wi-Fi Network Is A Must For Your Home

Now, before we go further, let’s talk a little bit about the mesh Wi-Fi network for the benefit of those who are not familiar with the technology. For starters, a Wi-Fi router alone is not enough to push your Internet connection throughout your home.

This is because the efficiency of your Wi-Fi transmission could be reduced by many factors including the floor, doors, and walls of your own home. Additionally, the location of your router would also affect its coverage and speed especially when you are living in multi-storey homes.

This problem could be escalated further by the frequency interference coming from multiple devices within your home as well, such as kitchen appliances, Bluetooth devices and even your neighbour’s Wi-Fi network. The mesh Wi-Fi network solves this issue by having one or more nodes installed around your home so that the reach of your Wi-Fi connectivity would be extended further which means a more stable connection.

Go Fast In All Corners Of Your Home With The OmniMesh Range

To make your life much easier, TIME Internet has come out with several customised mesh Wi-Fi bundles for you to choose. They come in three different options including the OmniMesh Essential/Enhanced Starter pack which is inclusive of one mesh Wi-Fi node alongside the new mesh-friendly Wi-Fi router that corresponds to your TIME Fibre Home Broadband plan.

There are also the Booster and Super packs that come with two and three mesh Wi-Fi nodes, respectively. This way, you don’t have to scratch your head scouring the market looking for mesh Wi-Fi systems when TIME Internet already provides you with options that have been tested to work with TIME Fibre Home Broadband.

Not only that, you are now able to get your hands on the OmniMesh devices for free when you subscribe to selected TIME Fibre Home Broadband plans. This offer is available for a limited time only, so make sure you don’t sleep on that! Click here to sign up!
