KOTA KINABALU: Four more areas in Sabah will placed under enhanced movement control order (EMCO) from June 16 following a spike in Covid-19 cases there.
They are Country Heights Apartment (18 cases detected) and Vista Minintod Apartment (14 cases) after a total of 46 tests were conducted in the two apartments.
In Sandakan, Kampung Sundang Laut will be placed under an EMCO after 10 of the 18 tests conducted in the area returned positive.
Kampung Skim Cocos in Kunak will also be under an EMCO after 10 of the 24 tests conducted in the area returned positive, with the Health Ministry reporting an infectivity rate of 42%.
