KOTA KINABALU: Five more localities in Sabah will be placed under the enhanced movement control order (EMCO) from June 18 until July 1.
They are Kampung Bukit Gemuk and Kampung Tanjung Batu Keramat in Tawau, Kampung Landung Ayang and Taman Lavender in Kudat and also the Etara housing in Jalan Agaseh, Lahad Datu.
The decision to be placed these areas under EMCO was made following high positivity rates and a spike in Covid-19 cases there.
Meanwhile, the EMCO at the Pekan subdistrict in Kunak and SMU Pantai Manis in Papar will end at at 11.59pm on June 17.
