Members of the armed forces install barbed wires around one an EMCO-imposed area in Sarawak.
KUCHING (July 14): Two villages and a rented rooms facility in Sarawak today has been put under the Enhanced Movement Control Order (EMCO), said the Sarawak Disaster Management Committee (SDMC).
Kampung Jagoi Duyoh in Bau and Lempaong Baru, Spak in Betong will both be placed under EMCO from July 15 till July 28, while the rented rooms facility located above the Famous Nasi Kandar Corner Shop in Sarikei has been placed under EMCO since July 13 until July 26, said the committee in a statement today.
Meanwhile SDMC also revealed that EMCO enforcements at six longhouses in Saratok, Sarikei and Meradong have ended today.
The longhouses are Rh Jerome, Sungai Kesa in Sarikei; Rh Jumbun, Simpang Koko in Sarikei; Rh Mary, Batu 3 Jalan KJD, Bintangor in Meradong; Rh Milai, Emplaie Ili in Saratok; Rh Mang, Sungai Wong, Roban in Saratok; and Rh Changgie, Sungai Berayang in Roban.
Meanwhile, SDMC also informed that the guidelines for the Phase 2 of the National Recovery Plan can be download via the National Security Council website.
