KUCHING (June 14): Sarawak today reported an increase of 200 new Covid-19 positive cases from 544 yesterday to 744, Health director-general Tan Sri Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah said.
He said in a Facebook post that the state’s cumulative number of Covid-19 cases now stood at 56,187.
Sarawak’s cases were the second highest in the country yet again behind Selangor which recorded 1,523 new cases.
New cases were also recorded in Kuala Lumpur with 503 cases followed by Johor (430), Negeri Sembilan (323), Sabah (273), Penang (214), Kedah (199), Perak (136), Melaka (119), Labuan (113), Terengganu (86), Pahang (61), Putrajaya (10) and Perlis (1).
Malaysia recorded 4,949 cases today, bringing the cumulative total of positive cases to 662,457 cases nationwide.
