KUCHING (June 6): AstraZeneca vaccines will be administered at two AstraZeneca Vaccination Centres (PPVAZ) in Sarawak from tomorrow (June 7) onwards, said the State Disaster Management Committee (SDMC).
It said the two PPVAZs will be operating at the Borneo Convention Centre Kuching (BCCK) here and the National Youth Skills Institute (IKBN) in Miri.
“The PPVAZ at BCCK will operate from 8am to 9pm (Monday to Friday) and from 8am to 5pm on weekends.
“In Miri, the PPVAZ at IKBN will be open from 8am to 5pm daily,” it said in its Covid-19 daily update.
Registration for the second round of AstraZeneca Covid-19 vaccine opt-in programme for Sarawak, Johor, Penang, Selangor and Kuala Lumpur was open for those aged 60 and above on May 23 before it was extended to Malaysians under aged 60 on May 26.
