All deaths outside hospital considered Covid-19 positive

KOTA KINABALU: All deaths outside the hospital will be considered Covid-19 positive until PCR/RTK-AG tests show otherwise.

This statement was issued by Sabah Covid-19 spokesperson Datuk Seri Masidi Manjun on Wednesday.

“All deaths outside the hospital must be reported to the nearby police station and the report must be forwarded to the district health office.

“The dead body is required to be brought into the hospital by the Ministry of Health team with the help of police for Covid-19 screening.

“Positive results will be arranged by the relevant bodies for burial,” he said.
