378 new cases In Sabah

KOTA KINABALU: As the Ministry of Health intensifies house-to-house screening in all Enhanced Movement Control Order (EMCO) localities and close contacts, the number of Covid-19 new cases shot up to 378 in Sabah on Saturday.

Covid-19 spokesperson Datuk Seri Masidi Manjun revealed this in his Twitter post.

“Kudat is on top with 75, Papar, 58, Tawau 40, Sandakan 38, KK 32, LDatu 22, KB 19, P’pang 16, Telupid 15, Sipitang 13, Tuaran 12, Nabawan 11,” he said.

Meanwhile, six districts recorded single digit daily cases namely Kunak (8), Kalabakan (5), Semporna (5), Beaufort (5), Putatan (2) and Keningau (2).

Three new clusters were recorded on June 12 namely Kluster Indah in Nabawan, Kluster Ambar Park in Tawau and Kluster Kg Baru in Sipitang.
