230 new cases, three more deaths in Sabah

KOTA KINABALU: Sabah recorded 230 new Covid-19 cases on Tuesday, with three deaths in the past 24 hours.

Tawau, Papar and Semporna recorded one death each, said state Covid-19 spokesperson Datuk Seri Masidi Manjun in his daily statement.

“A total of 289 patients were discharged yesterday, and 2,051 individuals are currently receiving treatment in hospitals and PKRCs, with 100 in ICU,” he said.

No new cluster was recorded on June 15, however eight villages in the state will be placed under Enhanced Movement Control Order (EMCO).

Sabah’s total Covid-19 cases as of June 15 is 66,546.
