KUCHING (June 28): The State Disaster Management Committee (SDMC) has announced revisions to several standard operating procedures (SOPs) under the first phase of the National Recovery Plan (NRP) effective tomorrow.
It said in its Covid-19 daily update that this included the operating hours of eateries and restaurants which will be allowed to operate from 6am to 10pm.
It also said that all bookstores and stationery shops have been given the green light to operate but they must comply with the conditions of the operating period set for the service, economy or industry sectors and other activities.
Another SOP that has been revised by the committee is that individuals or groups are not permitted to gather in public areas between 12.01 am to 5am without valid reasons.
