LAWAS (June 12): The Northern Region Development Agency (NRDA) handed over computers and other items to SK Trusan in Lawas, as part of the Regional Corridor Development Authority (Recoda)’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programme.
NRDA Chairman Datuk Amar Awang Tengah Ali Hasan who was in Lawas town yesterday presented six desktop computers, six printers, ten mattresses and ten prayer mats to SK Trusan headmaster Suliman Yahya.
The programme in collaboration with construction contractors Kemena Holding Sdn Bhd and HMN Nadhir Sdn Bhd was to alleviate the burden faced by the school following recent floods in the area.
NRDA is a regional development agency under Recoda tasked with implementing socio-economic and infrastructure projects in the Sarawak Corridor of Renewable Energy (Score).
The statutory body also promotes and facilitates investments to Score as well as creates job opportunities.
