MIRI (July 9): A mother, whose intellectually disabled son went missing from their house at Kampung Tudan Phase 1 here two months ago, is appealing to the public to help locate him.

Lundat Buwi, 45, said her firstborn Adam Chuat, 35, was missing when she returned home from work around 3.30pm on May 7.

“My son, who has a mental disability, would usually return home within two days after he leaves,” she said.

Lundat said she and her husband had also lodged a police report about Adam’s disappearance on May 10 after searching for and failing to find him.

According to her, when Adam was 16, he had a fever and was beaten, causing him to suffer memory loss and cognitive impairment.

He has been medically certified as disabled.

Those who know of Adam’s whereabouts can contact the family on 011-23584021, 011-51454051, or 011-25159565.
