Lundu, Belaga districts revert to green zones after zero local transmissions in last 2 weeks

KUCHING (March 3): Lundu and Belaga have returned to green zones today after both districts have not recorded any locally transmitted Covid-19 cases for the last 14 days, said Deputy Chief Minister and State Disaster Management Committee (SDMC) chairman Datuk Amar Douglas Uggah Embas.

“This brings the total number of green zones in the state to 14 districts,” he told a press conference on Covid-19 updates.

Uggah said Selangau, Kanowit, Betong, Meradong, Kuching, Samarahan, Kapit, Bintulu, Miri and Sibu remain red zones.

“A total of 2,482 locally transmitted cases were reported in these 10 districts in the last 14 days,” he said.

Julau, Subis, Bau, Bukit Mabong, Dalat and Sri Aman districts remain orange zones, with a total of 175 locally transmitted cases reported in the last 14 days.

Marudi, Mukah, Pusa, Song, Asajaya, Beluru, Sarikei, Saratok, Sebauh and Serian remain yellow with 94 locally transmitted cases.
