The two longhouses to be put under EMCO starting tomorrow are in Bintangor and Betong each.
KUCHING (July 7): Two longhouses in two districts have been placed under the Enhanced Movement Control Order (EMCO), said the Sarawak Disaster Management Committee (SDMC).
It said in its Covid-19 daily update that Rh Ujit, Sg Rayah, Bintangor in Meradong has started its EMCO today which will run until July 23 while Rh Joseph, Nanga Bangkit, Spaoh in Betong will start its EMCO from tomorrow until July 21.
“A resettlement scheme namely the Nanga Tada Resettlement Scheme in Kanowit will also have its EMCO extended for another week starting July 11 to 17,” the committee said.
The committee also announced the end of EMCOs for seven localities.
It said the Union Engineering (Signa Jaya) Quarters, Jalan Kidurong squatters, rented room above Kedai Jom Ngeteh in Bintulu and Rh Charles anak Ujang, Sg Sap in Tatau have ended their EMCO yesterday (July 6), while EMCOs for Rh Man and Rh Assun at Simpang Koko, Sg Paoh in Sarikei and Rh Marphy, Selanjan, Sebemban Asal, Pantu in Sri Aman were lifted today.
