KUCHING (June 11): Sarawak recorded 699 new Covid-19 cases today — the third highest number in the country, said Health director-general Datuk Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah.
In a Facebook post, he said Selangor remained at the top with 2,558 cases while Kuala Lumpur held the number two spot with 884 cases.
Malaysia recorded 6,849 cases today, bringing the cumulative total of positive cases to 646,849 cases nationwide.
Other states and territories which recorded new cases were Negeri Sembilan (685), Johor (426), Sabah (309), Kelantan (248), Penang (205), Labuan (176), Melaka (170), Perak and Kedah (161 each), Pahang (89), Terengganu (66), Putrajaya (10), and Perlis (2).
