Agrobank mobile banking services will start operating on July 12.
KUCHING (July 10): Agrobank will be operating its mobile banking services starting July 12 to provide more comprehensive access to banking services for the rural community in the state.
During the first phase of its mobile banking services, Agrobank will cover the Padawan and Tebedu areas, operating from the Padawan Sub-District Office premises at Jalan Borneo Height from July 12 to 16. It will open from 10am to 3pm.
Among the services that will be offered by Agrobank to the residents of Padawan-Tebedu areas during the operation period of the Mobile Banking Services are Automated Teller Machine (ATM) Service; Account and Debit Card opening counter; and Promotion of Takaful Kasih Plus products.
Agrobank is one of the banks participating in providing Mobile Banking Services to rural areas of Sarawak, an initiative by the state government in collaboration with Bank Negara Malaysia.
Residents of areas that will be served by the mobile banking services are reminded to adhere to the standard operating procedures (SOP) and practice social distancing while at the facility.
