PETALING JAYA: Health Minister Dr Adham Baba is under home quarantine after coming into contact with a media personnel who later tested positive for Covid-19.
In a Facebook post, Adham said he had been given a Home Surveillance Order until Dec 18.
The media personnel, he said, had met him at his office on Saturday, and tested positive on Tuesday after exhibiting symptoms.
“Until the HSO is over, I will be working from home including having meetings and discussions online.
“No one is exempt from following orders issued by the authorities, more so when it involves efforts to prevent and treat Covid-19,” he said.
Previously, Prime Minister Muhyiddin Yassin also underwent home quarantine after chairing a meeting attended by religious affairs minister Zulkifli Mohamad Al-Bakri, who later tested positive for Covid-19.
