The Conditional Movement Control Order (CMCO) in the affected areas was supposed to end tomorrow, on 6 Decemeber. But it looks like it will be extended to 20 December for many of the areas. The announcement came via the Malaysian Ministry of Defence’s official Twitter account.
To break it down, the CMCO for Sabah, Selangor and Kuala Lumpur will be extended to 20 December as mentioned. That being said, certain areas in Selangor have been exempt from this extension. Specifically, they are the districts of Sabak Bernam, Hulu Selangor And Kuala Selangor. Oddly enough, Putrajaya will also return to RMCO status, despite being immediate neighbours.

For the state of Johor, the CMCO implementation for Mersing will end on 6 December as previously announced. That being said, the one for Kota Tinggi will be extended to 20 December. Three more areas, which are Johor Bahru, Batu Pahat and Kulai, on the other hand, will be subject to the CMCO starting 7 December, ending on 20 December as well. The same applies to Kulim, Kedah, and Kota Bharu, Machang, Tanah Merah and Pasir Mas of Kelantan.

And finally, the Ministry of Defence also announced that inter-district and interstate travel will be allowed once again. The exception to this will be to and from areas under EMCO.
