Razer recently has added yet another well-known name into its long list of collaborators by coming out with the limited-edition A Gaming Ape collection in association with the famed Japanese streetwear brand, A Bathing Ape (BAPE). For Razer fans out there, worry not, the collection will be made available for Malaysia.
In its response to our query, Razer stated Malaysians will be available to get their hands on the BAPE-themed DeathAdder V2 gaming mouse and Goliathus V2 Speed gaming mousepad through Razer’s official website on 5 December. Unfortunately, this does not apply to the Razer Opus wireless ANC headphones for the time being.
Other than that, they can also purchase apparels from the A Gaming Ape collection through the website which include the Camo Team, White, and Black t-shirt as well as a full zip hoodie. Not to forget, the collection’s Rogue 15-inch backpack will also be available for Malaysian customers.
Price-wise, the DeathAdder V2 from A Gaming Ape collection goes for RM 429 while the Goliathus V2 Speed can be obtained for RM 199. On another hand, the exact Malaysian pricing for A Gaming Ape apparels will only be revealed on release day.
In case you need a reference point in US Dollar though, the Black and White t-shirts are listed at USD 115 (~RM 468). On another hand, the Camo Team t-shirt, Rogue backpack, and full zip hoodie are priced at USD 179 (~RM 728), USD 179.99 (~RM 732), and USD 385 (~RM 1565), respectively.
Meanwhile, BAPE Store Malaysia which is located at Suria KLCC has also confirmed that it will release A Gaming Ape collection on 5 December as well. However, the retail store didn’t reveal the actual list of the items that can be obtained over there and our attempt to obtain further information from the store proved to be futile since it didn’t respond to our multiple queries regarding A Gaming Ape collection.
