Ever had a plant-based diet before?

A plant-based meal basically means that your meal mostly consists of plants, be it vegetables, fruits, beans, or seeds.

Studies have shown that eating plant-based food, even once in a while, is great for your body, as it helps to improve gut health and support your immune system.

Nevertheless, Malaysians have a lot of misconceptions when it comes to eating plant-based food, including it being more expensive and not as yummy. However, that isn’t the case at all. With proper planning and preparation, a plant-based meal can be just as good and affordable.

To show you guys just how yummy plant-based food can be, local food brand First Pride has challenged these Malaysians to try eating plant-based food for five days, wahhhh 😮

Watch the full video below to find out how they fared:

Firstly, before kickstarting their five-day challenge, Raz and Ashley got to try three different types of nuggets. What they didn’t expect was to have a plant-based nugget, made from soy and wheat! 😮

Ashley: “For dinner today, I am having the First Pride Spicy Nuggets and mash potatoes.”

As the days go by, both of them got more and more creative with their meals.

For lunch, Ashley prepared some salad but to make it less boring, she added some First Pride Bites. While for dinner, she had stuffed bell peppers, yummm :9
