Malaysia’s Covid-19 patients in ICU hits new ceiling at 972, as 125 more die

KUALA LUMPUR, July 13 — Another 125 people died from Covid-19 nationwide today, raising the cumulative fatality count to 6,385 since the pandemic spread in Malaysia last year.

Health director-general Tan Sri Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah also announced 972 which topped yesterday’s 963 record high of Covid-19 patients that have been warded in the intensive care units (ICU).

He said 456 of those in ICU need ventilators.
