KUCHING (July 8): Two longhouses have been placed under the Enhanced Movement Control Order (EMCO) for two weeks, the Sarrawak Disaster Management Committee (SDMC) said.
It said in a statement today that Rh Lau anak Janting, Batu 20, Jalan Bintulu/Miri in Bintulu started its EMCO yesterday (July 7) till July 20, while Rh Munan, Nanga Bangkit Ulu, Spaoh in Betong started its EMCO frorm today till July 21.
SDMC also announced that the EMCO for four longhouses have has lifted.
Rh Wing ak Tutong and Rh Wing in Kampung Gua Sukat in Sri Aman as well as Rh John, Sungai Minus, Jakar in Sarikei ended their EMCO today while Rh Jilap, Batu 6, Jalan Engkamop in Pakan will have its EMCO lifted tomorrow (July 9).
