Covid-19: Sarawak records 513 new cases today, third highest in Malaysia

KUCHING (June 27): Sarawak recorded 513 new Covid-19 positive cases today, bringing its cumulative number of cases to 63,824.

Health director-general Tan Sri Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah in a Facebook post said the state’s latest figure was the third highest in the country behind Selangor and Kuala Lumpur which recorded 2,212 and 628 cases respectively.

New cases were also recorded in Negeri Sembilan with 501 cases followed by Melaka (380), Johor (312), Perak (229), Sabah (190), Penang (138), Kelantan (133), Kedah (129), Pahang (118), Labuan (83), Terengganu (16) and Putrajaya (4).

Perlis was the only state which did not report any new cases.

Malaysia recorded 5,586 cases today, bringing the cumulative total of positive cases to 734,048 cases nationwide.
