KUCHING (June 24): A drug rehabilitation centre located at Jalan Puncak Borneo here has been declared one of Sarawak’s latest Covid-19 clusters.
Dubbed as the Kilometer 23 Jalan Puncak Borneo cluster, 28 infections were detected among 122 individuals screened related to the cluster.
“A total of 28 were positive for Covid-19 including the index case, while 60 are still awaiting laboratory results,” added the Sarawak Disaster Management Committee (SDMC) in its daily update today.
The committee also declared three other new clusters today, namely the Jalan Setia Raja cluster in Kuching, Sungai Separai cluster in Tatau and the Jalan Sungai Antu cluster in Sibu.
