Health Dept to raise number of screening tests at detention depots, prisons in light of new cluster

KUCHING (March 18): The State Health Department will be increasing its Covid-19 screening capacity at detention depot centres and prisons, said State Disaster Management Committee (SDMC) chairman Datuk Amar Douglas Uggah Embas.

He said this is following the 99 positive Covid-19 cases reported at Semuja Immigration Detention Depot in Serian today.
