KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 22 — Commuters on the Kajang MRT Line faced travel delays due to an unidentified object falling on the tracks.
Rapid Rail confirmed in a statement that around 4.32pm today an object on the tracks caused a disruption between Phileo Damansara and Pusat Bandar Damansara stations.
Shuttles were deployed to assist passengers affected.
The Star reported a rail station staffer saying that people newly arriving at Semantan station were not allowed past the payment barricade to avoid overcrowding.
Trains heading towards Semantan also faced delays.
A fallen tree also disrupted bus journeys along the AJ03, AJ04 and T350 route, as the road near Dahlia Apartment was impassible.
Rapid Rail has apologised for the convenience to passengers and advised them to keep track of service updates on the company’s social media channels.
