DBKL Raids A Popular Arab Restaurant Offering In-Car Dining & Shisha Experience

On Thursday, 11 February, the Kuala Lumpur City Hall (DBKL) raided a popular Arab restaurant in Jalan Ampang for violating rules

In a joint operation with the Ministry of Health (MOH), DBKL found that the restaurant had violated the rules as a food premise to prepare shisha and display advertisements without a license from the city council.

The restaurant’s act to promote ‘dine-in your car & Shisha’ was also in violation of DBKL’s rule.

DBKL said that it ordered the restaurant to take down the banner and bunting promoting the unique in-car dining and shisha experience
