KL Woman Seeking Medical Treatment For Severe Bleeding Leads To Discovery Of Burnt Foetus

A woman in Kuala Lumpur raised a doctor’s suspicion while seeking medical treatment at a hospital recently.

She claimed that she experienced bleeding at home as soon as she came back from work.

According to Harian Metro, the woman went to the hospital on Friday, 11 December. The doctor suspected that she had just given birth but she denied it.

An unnamed source told the Malay daily, “The woman claimed to not know that she was pregnant and had given birth. This caused the doctor to suspect that she was trying to conceal the birth and proceeded to file a police report.”

Following the police report, a team of officers decided to apprehend the woman’s boyfriend to assist in investigations

After some questioning, the suspect admitted to throwing away his girlfriend’s foetus in the bushes at Pantai Sentral Park and setting it on fire.

The suspect brought police to the location and handed over a plastic bag with the burnt foetus inside of it.
